PhilosophyPractically - In order to create a veilled effect I had to basically paint the image that I wanted to be seen ... and then while it was drying I applied the white ... which I wanted to mix into the underpainted area - but not to obliterate it either by tone or hue. Philosophically - A very personal painting. My dear father gave me some advice once. He said "What ever you come across try it out ... at least once" Since then I have turned over many stones ... my curiosity has been insatiable ... and I have found myself allured into some very interesting situations. However, it has clouded my path in many respects. But I am not put down ... because now I can now ahead (not very well - but I can see something). |
