Philosophy

Practically - Moving the colours in a strictly controlled manner is becoming more and more involved ... whoever thinks this is simply letting wet paint run from one side of the canvas to another is very much mistaken. Its an adventure on and in pigment and liquids.

Philosophically - Within my meditations I have found "places" ... pockets of lucidity ... where something strangely creative seems to happen - I can never quite tell what but some of it comes out in my work. In this picture I have called one the place of discovery ... like a vast desert with green areas that usually contain a challenge of one sort or another.
