Surrealism experiment with pencils
Philosophy
Practically - After having spent quite a while drawing preparatory sketches I proceeded with a light drawing in graphite, and slowly worked into the image with both graphite and coloured pencils.
Philosophically - The symbolic union of the submitting soul with her ever present source. The potent intensity of this act is visualised by the "sexual" motion of the entwinement, and results in the creation of true magic - the wire like contradictions of unrefined, uncreated power.
