Part of the Whites Spirit Series - experiments with acrylics and other liquid media.

Philosophy

Practically - Underpainted for texture. And I initially kept the coloursappart - black, yellow ochre, red, raw umber, and white. Then I began liquidizing starting from the black - the others then joined in as I travelled towards the ochre.

Philosophically - A wise old man once told me "Never leave any stone unturned - not even a little one" ... and I have never forgotten his words. However it is only now after thirty years or so that I have come to truly understand what he was really saying.
