Entering the Cave
This
is a meditative entrance which eventually leads to a dark and dangerous
path
that urges any on down towards the raging torrent of pure creativity.
The cave
entrance itself (the central figure) is one of many moments where a serious
decision will have to be made by the observer.
Here it is surrounded by
the struggling antics and questions of the hesitant adventurer.
To enter
or not? How to approach the entrance?
How to deal with internal fears
and external obstacles ...
just some of the challenges that face the wanderer.
The whole
picture is framed with mystical creatures pictures such as Mayan style
quiz's and guards,
which only allow those with serious intent to penetrate
further into the image.
There they find further puzzles which are meant
to prepare those who are still determined to enter for the hazards ahead
-
once the riddles have been successfully answered.
