Philosophy

Practically - Another heavily underpainted picture. It was important to arrange the undulations of this piece. And I purposefully limited the colour palette to exclude white ... therefore I had to rely upon the careful application of the yellow to keep its luminosity.

Philosophically - After a number of years of sickness this image heralds the beginning of what I feel is another chapter in my life ... one which seeks to embrace both life and death - continually investigating one, whilst monitoring the other.
