Philosophy

Practically - After having spent quite a time drawing preparatory sketches I proceeded with a light drawing in graphite, and slowly worked into this creature mystical picture work with both graphite and coloured pencils.

Philosophically - One of a series of four. Each creature has its own vision of grandeur.

In this case the agile seal easily balances the moon on its nose ... like weighing up situations and passing the only approriate judgement ...
