Surrealism experiment with pencils

Philosophy

Practically - After having spent quite a time drawing preparatory sketches I proceeded with a light drawing in graphite, and slowly worked into this unusual picture with both graphite and coloured pencils.

Philosophically - There is a true unromantic ability called prayer.

Unlike the orchestrated variety this silent utterance is like water - it can sooth, nurse, heal, and sustain ... ... it can also move mountains, and destroy that which is weak and in its way!
