Part of the White Spirit Series - experiments with minimal use of paint and other liquids ... to give a calmative decorative style

Philosophy

Practically - Heavily underpainted with blues. Then working with reds, yellows, and a little ultramarine blue to obtain a particular brown feel. Finally I added the ghostly pale brown/pink.

Philosophically - Eckhart cleverly used the word "naught" in a positive way ... describing true site as seeing the truth AND describing the base created world as not worthy of being taken in. Or to put it even more cryptically - if he saw nothing then he saw God!
