Part of the White Spirit Series - experiments with acrylics and other liquid media.

Philosophy

Practically - I choose a high contrast palette and lots of mounds of colour. Once I started to use the liquids it quickly became apparent that the darker colours would run over the light and try to dominate ... not what would normally happen.

Philosophically - The wonderful thing about creativity is that I believe it is one way ... you cannot undo what you have come to understand ... or can you? Eckhart said that the only true quest in life is the soul returning to her source ... and that means unlearning the created world ... the truest creativity!
