Surrealism experiment with pencils

Philosophy

Practically - After having spent quite a time drawing preparatory sketches I proceeded with a light drawing in graphite, and slowly worked into this surreal picture with both graphite and coloured pencils.

Philosophically - The way to get closer to the place were you should be is to become detached from the bodily desires that simply distract and eventually lead you away from the dangerous slopes of creativity, back to the safety of sleepy ignorance.
