Practically - The burnt seinna was thoroughly mixed off the canvas with the red. Then I wanted to add a rough mix with some more red to suggest a vague area on the lower left side. Philosophically - Singapore was an alien magical world for me ... I quickly became aware of a "something" deep within the psyche of the place. It was one of the first strong metaphysical doorways I would consciously experience in my life. |
