Surrealism experiment with pencils

Philosophy

Practically - After having spent quite a time drawing preparatory sketches I proceeded with a light drawing in graphite, and slowly worked into this strange image with both graphite and coloured pencils.

Philosophically - The actual point of revelation - accomplished only after many and various travails of the flesh, fought here in the outside world. Then, and only then will wrappings be removed to reveal the true inner being - a most powerful soul, active, lively, and strong.
